There’s plenty of flexibility when it comes to setting a budget for your wedding flowers- it all comes down to what matters most to you as a couple. You might see flowers as a finishing touch, or they might be the statement feature that brings your whole day to life.

Your flower budget should work with your overall vision, not against it. Here’s a rough idea of what your budget can get you.

Sweet and Simple
Under $2,000

Perfect for smaller weddings or couples focusing on just a few key floral moments.

  • Personal Flowers First:
    This budget typically covers a beautiful bridal bouquet, a few bridesmaid bouquets, and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen. You may also have room to include corsages for parents or close family.

  • Planning an Intimate Day?
    For smaller celebrations, this could also stretch to include a ceremony or reception feature, like a statement arrangement to style your signing table or ceremony backdrop, alongside your bouquet and buttonhole.

$2,000 – $5,000

A flexible budget with plenty of options, depending on your priorities and bridal party size:

  • Personal Flowers Covered:
    This range will comfortably cover all your personal flowers- think bouquets, buttonholes, and corsages.

  • Option 1: Table Flowers
    Add some charm to your reception with smaller arrangements on each table, or clusters of bud vases with statement blooms to suit your vibe and budget.

  • Option 2: A Ceremony or Reception Feature
    Instead of table florals, you might opt for a standout moment, like a floral arch at your ceremony or a hanging foliage installation with floral highlights at your reception.

  • Option 3: A Bit of Both (Small Bridal Party)
    If you’ve only got a couple of extra people in your bridal party, this budget could stretch to include a ceremony feature and a reception installation. We can then swap out table flowers for a candlelit look instead.

$5,000 – $8,000

A generous budget that allows for more floral impact throughout your day.

  • The Full Spread:
    This range can cover all personal flowers, plus a feature floral element at both your ceremony and reception. It also allows room for smaller table arrangements or bud vases, paired beautifully with candles for an added glow.

  • Or, Go Bigger in One Spot:
    If you’re choosing just one major feature (like a ceremony arch or a hanging installation at your reception), this budget can stretch to include fuller, standard-sized floral centrepieces on guest tables as well.

  • Maximise Your Florals:
    Many couples in this range choose to repurpose ceremony florals, moving them to the reception after "I do" to get the most out of each arrangement. We’re always happy to help plan for that!

Statement Floral styling
$8,000 - $15000

A full-service floral budget that brings flexibility, scale, and custom touches to your day.

  • The Full Experience:
    This range typically includes all your personal flowers, a statement ceremony feature, a floral installation at your reception, and floral styling on guest tables, with candles to tie it all together beautifully.

  • Custom Elements Included:
    Looking for something bespoke, like a larger-scale ceremony backdrop? This budget can comfortably accommodate that, but it may mean simplifying table florals or reception touches to keep things balanced.

  • Tailored to You:
    This tier gives us the room to design with your venue and vision in mind—whether you want lush romance, architectural detail, or something artful and unexpected.

A few things that can affect your final quote:

  • Premium blooms like peonies and orchids are beautiful, but they do take up a larger portion of the budget. If you're after these kinds of flowers, it’s important to factor that in early.

  • Labour charges can vary depending on your location and the venue’s setup/pack-down times. Early mornings, late nights, and weekend weddings often come with higher costs.
