So... how does this whole wedding flower thing actually work?
Ever wondered what goes on behind those dreamy floral displays? Here’s a peek behind the scenes - the not-so-glamorous (but oh-so-essential) steps that bring your wedding flowers to life.
From Inbox to Booking
It all begins with your enquiry. Once we know a little about your wedding and floral vision, we’ll send through a custom quote tailored to your style, needs, and budget.
Love what you see? A deposit secures your date in our calendar.
Planning + Prep
We’ll keep chatting via email/Zoom, updating your quote as ideas evolve. Behind the scenes, we’re busy checking seasonal availability with our growers and wholesalers, as flower prices fluctuate daily.
We’ll also liaise with your venue to confirm set-up, pack-down, and any special requirements. Trust us - this step saves a lot of wedding day stress
The Countdown
Around 4–6 weeks before your big day, we’ll reconnect to finalise everything, which can include:
- Final flower choices
- Updated invoice
-Ordering vases, ribbons + sundries
Flower Time!
When the blooms arrive, we inspect every stem. If anything’s not quite right, we source replacements fast. Then it’s time to hydrate, prep, and start designing everything from bouquets to installations. This is where the floral magic really begins.
The Big Day

The Big Day *
We’re up bright and early, delivering bridal party flowers and setting up your ceremony and reception spaces. We move quickly (and carefully) to make sure every detail is perfect – and on schedule.
Opted for flower repurposing? We’ll be there post-ceremony to move your florals to the reception seamlessly.
Need a bump out? We return after the party’s over to pack down and responsibly handle waste. Then, finally, it’s our turn for a well-earned glass of rosé.
So there you have it! A glimpse at what it takes to make floral magic on your big day. It is equal parts creativity, logistics, hustle, and heart. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
